Our Philosophy

We believe that having babies is one of the most exhilarating experience in ones life, be it a biological or an adoptive baby. We also believe in the age-old dictum: prevention is better than cure.

There are certain dos & don'ts, which one should follow:

	In your younger ages always practice safe sex (use a condom) thus preventing genital infections and unwanted pregnancy.
	Try not to have an unwanted pregnancy. Avoid termination (abortion) as far as possible
	Try not to have genital infections. If you have these infections, get them treated promptly by your doctor.
	Once you get married, it is better to have kids within a reasonable time period, preferably within a year or two.
	Try to have kids before the age of 35 years. With higher maternal age it becomes more difficult to conceive. There is also a higher chance of having an abnormal baby.

We feel that if you do not conceive within one or two years of trying for a baby, you should visit your next-door gynecologist and get treated. Generally your gynecologist would do your husband's semen analysis and mostly perform either a Hysterosalpingography or a D & C -Laparoscopy - Hysteroscopy on the woman. S/he would then treat the husband. If you still do not conceive within a years time or your Gynecologist feels that you need specialized care, then you should visit an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) unit like Babies And Us Fertility, IVF & ICSI Centre. You should try a maximum of four cycles of IVF/ ICSI to achieve pregnancy. If you still do not conceive, you should resort to Adoption.
